Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of bamboo.tt. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use bamboo.tt.
1. What bamboo.tt is
bamboo.tt is a platform that helps car owners in Trinidad & Tobago discover auto parts and receive quotes from independent auto parts stores. We do not sell parts ourselves. Prices, availability, part quality and descriptions come from the stores, and we do not guarantee their accuracy. Any purchase, payment, warranty, fitment and delivery is arranged directly between you and the store.
2. Accounts
- Shoppers can browse as a guest or sign in with Google, Facebook or email.
- Stores must apply and be verified before listing. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Quotes and transactions
A quote is an estimate offered by a store based on the information it has provided — it is not a binding offer by bamboo.tt. Always confirm the exact part, condition, price, fitment and availability with the store before purchasing. bamboo.tt is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any transaction between you and a store.
4. Store obligations
- List only genuine inventory with accurate names, types, prices and stock levels.
- Operate a legitimate business and provide truthful verification documents.
- Respond to customers in good faith and honour quoted prices where reasonable.
- We may review, suspend, or remove any store or listing — for example for inaccurate information, complaints, or abuse.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: submitting false information, spamming stores or customers, scraping or bulk-extracting data, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Store subscriptions & billing
Stores may subscribe to paid tiers (Standard, Pro) for additional visibility and features. At launch, billing is handled by invoice arranged directly with the bamboo.tt team; there is no online payment yet. Tier benefits, pricing and add-ons may change with notice.
7. Intellectual property
The bamboo.tt name, brand and platform are our property. Content you submit (such as your store profile and inventory) remains yours, and you grant us the licence needed to display and operate the service.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that listings, prices or availability are accurate, that stores will fulfil quotes, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, bamboo.tt is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any dispute, product, service or transaction between you and a store. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms or harms other users or the platform. You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, and disputes are subject to its courts.
